ABOUT TCTC
Texas Career and Technology Council (TCTC) is an organization representing eight professional organizations of Career and Technology Education (CTE). The purpose of TCTC is to have one unified voice speaking for and supporting CTE programs. The board of TCTC is made up of two representatives of each of the organizations. This group meets twice per year. TCTC also sponsors the Best of Texas Awards.

BENEFITS
TCTC gives career and technology groups a united voice in the state legislature and state board of education. Members are eligible to purchase a $2 million professional liability insurance policy and they can also make nominations for Best of Texas Awards.

AWARDS
TCTC implemented the Best of Texas Awards to recognize senior CTE students, alumni and community members who are active in career and technology education. Best of Texas recipients are presented with scholarships and a commemorative plaque at the annual Best of Texas Awards Ceremony held in Austin. Download the 2008 application under awards.
